The following update concerns the latest procedures for handling Hanjin cargo and equipment at the Port of New York and New Jersey.
M/V Hanjin Switzerland
The Hanjin Switzerland is expected to dock at GCT Bayonne on Wednesday afternoon October 13, 2016 for discharge. The cargo will then be barged to Maher Terminals where it will be made available for import delivery later in the week. Cargo availability information can be found at https://apps.maherterminals.com/csp/homeAction.do?method=login and/or www.porttruckpass.com.
PLEASE CONFIRM CARGO AVAILABILITY BEFORE DISPATCHING ANY DRIVERS TO THE TERMINAL.
There will be no export containers loaded back onto the Hanjin Switzerland. All bookings have been cancelled.
Cargo discharged from this vessel will not have to pay the Terminal Handling Charges and any ancillary charges separately.
M/V Hanjin Chonqing, Hanjin Baltimore & Hanjin Bremerhaven
At this time, we expect the Hanjin Chonqing to arrive in the Port of New York & New Jersey on/about October 27th and follow a plan similar to that of the M/V Hanjin Switzerland. The Hanjin Baltimore and Hanjin Bremerhaven have been arrested and their disposition is unknown at this time.
We will provide updates regarding these vessels, their port calls and cargo availability as they become available.
Hanjin empty returns are not currently being accepted at any container terminals. We will advise of any changes.
