The following update (as of October 14) concerns the latest procedures for handling Hanjin cargo and equipment at the Port of New York and New Jersey.
M/V Hanjin Switzerland
The Hanjin Switzerland discharged some containers at Maher Terminals and shifted to GCT Bayonne this afternoon to complete the discharge.
Once the vessel is complete at GCT, any imports discharged at GCT, that are fully released by US Customs, will be placed on barges and sent to Maher Terminals for delivery out the gate.
Any imports, discharged at GCT, that are not fully released and/or require a US Customs exam will remain at and be delivered from GCT.

PLEASE CONFIRM CARGO AVAILABILITY BEFORE DISPATCHING ANY DRIVERS TO THE TERMINALS.
There will be no export containers loaded back onto the Hanjin Switzerland.
All bookings have been cancelled.
Cargo discharged from this vessel will not have to pay the Terminal Handling Charges and any ancillary charges separately.
M/V Hanjin Baltimore
The Hanjin Baltimore has been released from arrest and is underway to the Port of New York & New jersey. Expected arrival at Maher Terminals is October 18th but this is subject to change.
M/V Hanjin Chonqing
At this time, we expect the Hanjin Chonqing to arrive in the Port of New York & New Jersey on or about October 27th.
Empty Container Returns
1) Only containers that discharged from the Hanjin Miami and the Hanjin Switzerland can be returned to Maher Terminals as empties.
2) Integrated Industries Corp., located at 1100 Polaris St., Elizabeth, NJ will receive empty containers Monday through Friday from 8 a.m to 4 p.m., and provided that these empties are associated with Hanjin shipments from the following container leasing companies ONLY:
Triton / TAL
Florens / Dong Fang
Touax
Beacon
Seaco
SeaCube
3) Central Jersey Truck and Rigging, located at 9 Finderne Ave, Bridgewater NJ 08807, is receiving Hanjin empty containers.
You must make an appointment in advance by calling (732) 560 – 3902. A handling fee of $25 (cash only) is payable at the gate.
