Global Marine Terminals (GCT) hosted the arrival of its first 14,000 TEU class ship to be operated in the east coast service (EC4) by “The Alliance” consortium of carriers. “The Alliance” is comprised of member carriers Hapag Lloyd (Germany), Yang Ming Lines (Taiwan), and the three Japanese carriers: NYK, K-Line, and MOL. 12/28/17 Eastbound NJ Turnpike Hudson County Extension from Interchange 14 is now open. All emergency repairs are complete.   12/27/17 The eastbound Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension of the New Jersey Turnpike is closed to traffic between Interchanges 14 and 14A, as of Wednesday, December 27. The New Jersey Turnpike Authority has closed the section of the roadway for emergency structural repairs. All trucks servicing GCT Bayonne should plan to use an alternate route while emergency maintenance repairs are underway. The westbound lanes are unaffected.
