Port of New York and New Jersey Commemorates Call From Largest Vessel Ever
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey presented a commemorative plaque to Captain I. Wlodarczyk of the Zim Tianjin. To date, the Tianjin is the largest container vessel to call the Port of New York and New Jersey. The Tianjin called at Global GCT Bayonne and discharged cargo in it first rotation through the port. Zim Lines has once again become owner and operator of the vessel after its charter expired with another major ocean carrier.
