On Friday, July 20, 2018, the M/V One Stork, a 14,026 TEU Ultra Large Container Ship (ULCS), docked at Global Container Terminal in Bayonne, New Jersey on its maiden voyage. On June 8th the Port of New York and New Jersey recognized the one-year anniversary of the raising of the Bayonne Bridge. The bridge now yields a navigational clearance of 215 feet resulting in the passage of larger ships, record cargo volume and economic growth for the Port.
