Total volume for May 2020 was 537,412 TEUs (304,132 lifts) versus 643,706 TEUs (366,366 lifts) in May 2019, a 16.5 percent decrease. For the month of April, the Port of New York and New Jersey’s rail business continues to demonstrate growth as the total rail volume, January through April, is 6.0 percent greater than in the same period in 2019.
