Please observe the following specifics: GCT Bayonne will open at 6 AM and require no appointments. AMPT will open at 7 AM. Cargo volumes at the Port of New York and New Jersey beat several records in January 2017. Container volumes hit a new monthly high with a total of 296,432 lifts or 517,668 TEUs for an increase of 8.3 percent over totals logged in January 2016. Loaded import containers hit 149,757 lifts for an increase of 5.5 percent over January 2016. Loaded export containers hit 61,740 lifts for an increase of 8 percent over January 2016.
