Lifts at the Port of New York and New Jersey were 6.7 percent better in May 2017 compared to the same month, previous year. The Zim Antwerp, one of the largest vessels deployed by Zim American Integrated Shipping Services (Zim) reached its berth at Maher Terminals on June 26, 2017. The Antwerp has a maximum capacity of 10,062 TEUs. Her arrival represents the first Neo Panamax Zim vessel to call Maher Terminals in Newark Bay after a navigational clearance of 215 feet above the waterline was announced for the Bayonne Bridge earlier this month.
