On February, 27, 2015, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey presented a plaque commemorating the maiden voyage of the Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) Taipei to the vessel’s Master, Captain N.C. Huang. The Taipei called Global Terminal in its first visit from ports in Asia as part of the G6 Vessel Sharing Agreement (VSA).
