A steady surge of cargo contributed to a strong start to 2022 at the Port of New York and New Jersey. Total volume increased by 21.5 percent in February compared to the previous year’s figure, as the seaport moved 759,248 TEUs (417,332 containers) compared to 625,120 TEUs (347,635 containers) in February 2021.
