On Thursday, August 14, the Hanjin Baltimore made its inaugural port call to the Port of New York and New Jersey at Maher Terminals. The Hanjin Baltimore is a 7,471 TEU vessel built by Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd. at their South Korean shipyard in 2005. On Thursday, August 14, staff from The Port Authority’s Port Commerce Department presented a plaque to the captain of the APL Mexico City to commemorate her maiden voyage. Newly delivered from Daewoo’s Okpo shipyard in South Korea June 30th, the APL Mexico City docked at Global Terminals as part of the China East Coast (CEC) service.
